Setting Up Qvod Player

Introduction:
Qvod Player is a Chinese media player that support P2P download and streaming.
Yes, the player can act as BitTorrent client too. (Since there are many decent torrent clients out there, we will skip discussing this part.)
This tutorial is to help those non-Chinese users to setup the player.

Required:
Internet Explorer
OR
Firefox with IE Tab addon.
To be more ~~n00b~~ user-friendly, we will use Internet Explorer 7.0 in this tutorial.

Steps:
1. Make sure you've installed Qvod player.

2. Open Internet Explorer browser, go to those site that support P2P movies download/streaming site, such as http://www.tom365.com/.

3. Select one movie, click at the link.
For example, I select TV series - Heroes season 3, episode 13.

4. For 1st time user, you may see a yellow tab on the top, reminding you about the ActiveX control.

5. A security window box will pop-out twice to make sure you're allowing Qvod player to run, just click 'Allow'.

6. This time your Qvod player should be pop-out now.

7. The movie should buffering in Internet Explorer browser, wait for it to buffer for 30secs.

8. Click your Qvod player, if you see the task is already at the Net Tasks tab, you may close the browser window.

9. Double click the task, let it buffers, you may watch it now or wait the player to finish download it.

10. Find the downloaded movie at your download directory.
Default location : C:\Download\ (if i'm not mistaken).
You may select new location for your downloaded file.
Click on File (F) > Option (O) > Select Network and change the location.

QVodPlayer Interface Language Select
By default, the language of the player is Chinese.
However, you may change the player interface language by clicking
File (F) > Language > English

3. Copy across your original option file (PES2009_OPTION01) from your backed up original save folder into the new save folder

KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) has reported a disruption in its Internet services due to circuit faults on the submarine cable network linking Malaysia and Europe, and said the services would be completely restored by Dec 31.

TM said in a statement Sunday that customers using its Internet services may experience slow browsing.

Access to websites hosted in Europe and that those using other IP (Internet Protocol) services such as Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and other critical business applications linked to Europe may also experience some service degradation.

It said the affected cables, on the Southeast Asia-Middle East-Western Europe 4 (SMW4) submarine network between Palermo in southern Italy and Alexandria in northern Egypt, were being repaired and that some of the links had meanwhile been rerouted to ease congestion.

During the restoration process, traffic to northern America may experience minor degradation while traffic to other countries is unaffected, it said.

Customers can call TM at 100 and select “Internet Services” or email TM at help@tm.com.my regarding Internet-related problems, it added. -- Bernama

Description: This patch contains all official Competition and Team emblems for PES2009, alot of the work was done by Asiat, so most credit goes to him. I finished off all of the .bin files he missed and fixed a few problems with the alpha channels.

Since the emblems are already within the .img files, there is no need to fear for the lack of emblem slots within the in-game editor.

How to install:
1. First, download AFS Explorer.

2. Follow the instructions.

a. Open afs explorer, and click on
File>Import AFS Files

b. When the Open Dialog Box appears, click on 'All Files (*.*)' on the 'Files of type:' drop down menu.

c. Now find your .img file in your PES2009 directory, it would ask if you would like to rebuild file, if you decide to do so, remember to save it as a .img (click on 'All Files (*.*)' again) in another location (with the same name as the origial file).

d. Click ACTION>IMPORT FOLDER, then locate the relevant folders (downloaded patch folder) and click OK.
If asked whether you want to modify reserved space, click yes and save a new name for the .img file.
Once the file is patched, delete or back up your old .img file and rename your new one to the correct name (cv_0a.img, cv_05.img, and rv0c_e.img).

Alternate (Traditional - and longer) Method:
1. Open afs explorer, and click on
File>Import AFS Files

2. When the Open Dialog Box appears, click on 'All Files (*.*)' on the 'Files of type:' drop down menu.

3. Now find your .img file in your PES2009 directory, it would ask if you would like to rebuild file, if you decide to do so, remember to save it as a .img (click on 'All Files (*.*)' again) in another location (with the same name as the origial file).

4. When everything has loaded, try importing the edited .bin files again (drag & drop from folder to a file listed on the program is possible, but make sure you drop it on the appropiate file), it would would ask if you would like to reserve space, click yes.
If it fails, another error message would appear.

5. If this is the case, click on the hammer icon with the rainbow gradient background (leaving your mouse over the button would show 'Modify reserved space...')

6. A new dialog box would open, and on the right you would see colour coded numbers only for the file(s) you wish to edit (colour for other files remain black). These numbers indicate the reserved space that is going to be availible after this process (the reserved space is automatically altered only for the files you attempted to edit). If you wish to manually change the reserved space for a specific file, you may do so in the top right corner.

7. Once everything is done, click on 'Regenerate AFS!'. Rebuilding a new .img is required for this step (same as the rebuilding part in step 3).
Remember to save it as the original file name in another location.

8. Once the .img file is rebuilt, open it and you should now be able to import the .bin files you were previously unable to.

9. When the desired bin files has all been updated, close the program and backup your original .img in a safe location and place your new edited .img into the original PES2009 directory with it's orginal file name and you're done.

In this case, the .img files are cv_0a.img, cv_05.img, and rv0c_e.img.

Yeah, i love this year PES!
It added a new game mode - Be A Legend, which similar to FIFA Series Be a Pro mode.
Currently i'm playing the BAL mode now, haha me myself (in-game) are playing for
Newcastle United at the moment.

AirAsia to head for Japan next year
TOKYO: Visiting AirAsia chief executive officer Datuk Tony Fernandes said on Thursday that the Kuala Lumpur-based discount airline intends to launch flight services to Japan next year, Jiji Press reported.

Fernandes told a press conference here that the Japanese market had enormous potential, adding that AirAsia hoped to help increase the number of Malaysian tourists to Japan.

The firm appears to be planning to set airfares for its Japan-bound flights at half the price of those offered by major airlines.

To celebrate the launch of Japan flights, AirAsia plans to offer US$25 (RM87.50) one-way tickets for flights between Japan and Malaysia.

AirAsia is considering launching flights to the Tokyo International Airport at Haneda and an airport now under construction in the Ibaraki prefecture, north-east of Tokyo.

Installing East Asian Language Pack for TinyXP

Ok, your geek friends have lend you a copy of customized version of Windows XP (TinyXP or any nLited versions of Windows), you've installed it happily, but when surfing some Chinese/Japanese/Korean website...
The browser cannot displayed the character correctly!!!

For example, (I'm testing with TinyXP Rev09)

Solutions:
Part One:
1. Download this language pack.

(Note: Nee-chan, you can skip this step sicne I've included this language pack at the thumb drive.)

2. The language pack should include these stuff:

3. Copy and paste "ctfmon.exe" and "msutb.dll" to your \windows\system32\ directory.
For example, C:\WINDOWS\system32

4. Copy and paste "INTL.INF" to \windows\inf\ directory.
For example, C:\WINDOWS\inf

(Note:If you can't find the folder( It's a hidden folder by default), just copy and paste "C:\WINDOWS\inf" [without quote] at the address bar and tap Enter.

5. Double click "RestoreLangBar.reg".

Part Two:
1. Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages Tab > Tick "Install files for East Asian languages" box.

2. This will prompt you with a message box explaining the languages its installing.
Just click "OK".

3. The system will prompt you to insert the OS CD/DVD, DO NOT INSERT THE OS CD/DVD!

4. Click "Browse" and find the "LanguageFiles" directory. After that, click "Retry".

(Note: If any more "File not found" message prompts appear, just set the path back to the "LanguageFiles" directory)

6. Last step, follow the instructions and restart your pc. DONE!!!!

Conclusion
Overall, this slip stream OS contains hundreds of the drivers, both new and obscure, meaning saving your ass to find any drivers for your hardware. Besides, TinyXP installs thousand of tweaked registries, that improve the system so much. Moreover, it even includes bunch of troubleshooting tools which have been bundled into a “Live Restore” boot option. The included applications are Acronis Backup & Restore, Damn Small Linux 4.3, Hirens Boot CD 9.5 and SpinRite 6.0.
You will never want to go back to standard version of Windows XP after trying TinyXP.

Google is launching an open source web browser to compete with Internet Explorer and Firefox.

The browser is designed to be lightweight and fast, and to cope with the next generation of web applications that rely on graphics and multimedia.

Called Chrome, it will launch as a beta for Windows machines in 100 countries, with Mac and Linux versions to come.

Well, as i mentioned before, hope my guide can help ya to spot the fake CLOT products in the market.

There are few things that you need to remember in order to spot the bootleg products.

I. Logo
You can recognize the fakeshits easily by spotting the CLOT logo.
For example,

Look at the logo, obviously it is a fake CLOT logo.

The REAL CLOT logo should be like this:

Call of Duty 4 (CoD 4) - Level 55 MP Data File Download

Well, there are two possibilities for you to be here.
First: You've forgotten to backup your CoD4 Level55 mpdata and re-format your pc, when installing back Call of Duty 4 and playing multiplayer, your stats have been reset to level 1!! So, you're finding a way to recover back the mpdata file.
OR:
Second: You're a CoD4 Multiplayer newbie, and being 0wn3d by others in the game. You've pissed off by them, then googling around and reach here.

Anyway, whatever. lol
Follow the steps below:

Download mpdata from the link below.

For Windows XP user : Go to Start-> Run-> Type regedit-> Enter.
For Windows Vista user : Go to Start-> Type regedit at Start Search-> Right click with regedit and select "Run as Administrator"

Search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Activision -> Call of Duty 4

Find "codkey" and double click it.

Save the key in notepad or whatever word program you like.

Replace the key with DL2J8PY44Q22GE4888D2

Click Ok.

Explore your Call of Duty 4 installation folder, and search for your game profile folder.

For example, C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\*your_name*

Backup and delete all the shits in that folder.

Replace the mpdata file that you've downloaded in that folder.

*TADA* Launch CoD4 Multiplayer, and you should see your rank have been change to Level 55 with all weapons unlocked and completed all challenges!

WAIT! you're not done yet, go to Options -> Multiplayer Options -> Key Code and type your original serial key that you saved in notepad just now.

LAST STEP! Go join a game, play for awhile, then Alt+Tab, go back Regedit there and change back to your original serial key.
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Activision -> Call of Duty 4 -> codkey)

ENJOY yo!

Her third studio album was released on 9 April 2008 titled I Loved Yesterday. Since most of the users cannot download from FileFront.com, so i made up this post.
I've tried some popular free file host services, such as sendspace, rapidshare and megaupload.

Therefore, i will explain the pros and cons of these file hosts on the internet.
These are only my opinions for the file host services, and might be vary to other users.

Pros

Upload speed and Download speed are decent.

Easy to handle.

Does not require to register in order to upload /downlad files but register user can enjoy more privileges, such as using sendspace Wizard Tool to upload files.

Cons

Limited upload file size - Max 300mb per file

Inactive files will be deleted.

Only premium users can download multiple files.

Cannot download multiple files at once.

Using web uploader might be failed at sometimes.

Cannot use link protector to protect link.

Not ad-free.

1.0 How do I know if i have a virus or a bot accessing my account or messenger?

If you think theres a bot accessing your account or infected onto your windows live messenger you must see some sort of sign. It is a virus or a spyware bot if:

1. Your getting advertisements via windows live messenger toasts.
2. Your sending links to other people when you are offline.
3. Your getting pop-ups et via windows live messenger (make sure its not the plus sponsor. If it is and you want to get rid of it click here!)

1.2 How to get rid of the advertisement virus (pc related)

Well, if your getting advertisements from windows live messenger and you sure its not the plus sponsor also you are sending links to people when you are online heres what to do.

First of all log into hotmail and change your account password ans secret question.

Now you must remove all ad-ons for windows live messenger. Restart and log into windows live messenger. If its fixed yay!

If not you need to uninstall messenger by going to START>CONTROL PANEL>ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS>WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER. Once you have done that you need to have a look trough your program files and look for anything that looks dodgy or you didn't remember installing. If you see some, google it to see if its safe or not. If it is not remove but please post it here first. Once you have done that restart.

Now you need to download anti-virus and spyware cleaners. Run them on your machine and if they detect anything bad delete the files as soon as possible. Now restart and boot in safe mode and the same as you just did and rescan your pc.

1.3 People are saying that i am sending them links when i wasn't even online!

Most of the timer all you need to do is login to hotmail and change your password and your secret question. Once you have done this that should be it. If it happens again you may have a keylogger on your pc.

1.4 How can I prevent this from happening again?

Don't give your password to websites that says that they can tell you who unblocked you. In fact don't give anyone or anything your password. If you do they go on your account and end links and advertise to your contacts. Also don't except files that people are sending you unless you scan them with an anti virus first.

Cannot download from FileFront?

Most of the users informed me that they cannot download any files at FileFront.com.
So, i went to the FileFront forum, and found this issue at FileFront.com Help Center.

Mostly of users who encountered this issue are from South East Asia Region.

I found a related topic at the forum, and ladychane2005 from the FileFront maangement, stated that users are probably getting this error because of the limited amount of download resources for user's area. Unfortunately the only thing users can do are keep trying until a download server becomes available for user's area.

The 2008 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2008, will take place in Austria and Switzerland, from 7 June to 29 June 2008.
It is the second successful joint bid in the competition's history, following the UEFA Euro 2000 hosted by Belgium and the Netherlands. The 2012 competition in
Poland and Ukraine is scheduled to become the third jointly-hosted tournament.

A total of 16 teams will participate in the tournament. Austria and Switzerland will automatically qualify as hosts; The remaining 14 teams have been determined

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is the ninth installment in the Rainbow Six series (not including expansions). It is a tactical first person shooter video game and the sequel to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas. It was announced by Ubisoft on November 20, 2007. The game was released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 18, 2008 in North America and March 20, 2008 in Europe, except in Germany, where the game has been delayed. The Microsoft Windows version, however, was delayed until April 15, 2008.

It's been awhile i didnt play FPS (first person shooter) video game.
lol, when Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (R6V2) released, i was looking forward to play this amazing game again.
now, finally i've finished the game in a week, lol kinda slow rite?
ermm..
this is my short review of the game:

Gameplay:
4 out of 5, implemented new features such as ranking-up system (kinda alike COD4's multiplayer) and co-op game play.
ADDED: with new customization mode, player can customize their character with different appearance. COOL.

AI:
4 out of 5, there is some minor AI glitch(tested on normal difficulty level), cuz sometimes they are just standing at there without attacking ya, but this didnt happens frequently in game. HOWEVER, R6V2's AI are smarter than previous episode - Rainbow Six Vegas.
i really mean it, they are so smart!!! (play the game and you will know).

Sounds:
3 out of 5, not bad, realistic ballistic sounds, nice background music, added more tension while playing the game. But the AI sometimes just repeated saying same thing which can annoying the player. Include minor vulgar languages.

OVERALL: 4 out of 5, somehow the story is a bit short, hoping Ubisoft can extends the story so that players can enjoy the game more longer.

(NOTE: These are only my personal opinions for the game, don't flame me for that, thanks in advance.)

WiMAX: Free wireless cover for KL

PETALING JAYA: Internet surfers will have to put up with the 512Kbps maximum speed of the KL Wireless Metropolitan Project now until most of the 3,500 designated hotspots are active.

Packet One Networks Sdn Bhd (P1), one of the four WiMAX licensees charged with rolling out wireless broadband service in the country, expects the wait to be about two years.

Currently, 200 hotspots have been activated and most of these are in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) area.

P1 chief executive officer Michael Lai said another 1,300 hotpots in the city would be added by year-end, and the remainder by 2010.

“There will be options to upgrade the speed in the future and in the meantime it’s a free service,” he told In.Tech early this week.

Theoretically, WiMAX speeds can hit 70Mbps.

Connectivity fees will only be charged from 2010, said Lai.

512Kbps (kilobytes per second) is slow when compared to fixed-line broadband speeds offered by TM Net, which go as high as 4Mbps (megabits per second) now. But it is better than dial-up speeds which are typically 56Kbps — the service used by most Malaysians at this time.

Another benefit of wireless broadband is that Internet surfers can roam the city and remain connected.

Lai said P1 has also had to tweak its WiMAX 2.3GHz infrastructure so that it can be used by devices built for WiFi access. WiFi and WiMAX are different technologies that work the same way; with WiMAX having the greater range.

“This has to be done because there are currently no WiMAX-enabled devices available for consumers,” he said. “These devices will likely start showing up in the market in the latter part of the year.”

It will also take some time for the devices to gain critical mass among Internet users in the country, enough to make it worthwhile for P1 to switch back to a fully WiMAX network.

The KL Wireless Metropolitan Project was launched on Monday by Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Zulhasnan Rafique at KL City Hall.

Internet users who want to start using the service will need to first register at www.wirelesskl.com.

Accountant Farina Mohamed Jamal, 26, believes she will enjoy this new connectivity option. “Free Internet access even at 512Kbps is great, especially when you can now surf from anywhere in the city,” she said.

A helpdesk consultant, Azri Samad, 32, was also pleased with the new service but wonders if 512Kbps is going to be enough since the service will likely attract a lot of interest.

“It is free surfing but the bandwidth is going to be shared by tens of thousands of Internet users in the city,” he said.

Both hoped that the connectivity fee, when introduced, would be reasonable if not downright affordable.

This album has been prepared since the beginning of 2007. According to intelligence, the next album of Kelly Chen will be a Mandarin album within 2008.

This album name is designed by Kelly own self. The meaning is that, the name is the mixture of 2 words, Kelly + delicious. It means that her songs are as delicious as food. Since Kelly wants her songs in this album be more special, she found 7 different producers of composing the lyrics. Therefore, these songs get different styles and tastes.

40 years after winning European Cup final at Wembley 1968, and 50 years after Munich Tragedy, Manchester United finally crowned as European Champions for the third time after winning 6-5 on sudden death penalty shootout AFT against Chelsea, at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow!!

United's Brown's fine cross on 26th min assisted Ronaldo to score his first ever goal against Chelsea.

However, Chelsea's Lampard equalised for the Blues one minute before 1st half end.

Red Devils dominated 1st half but Chelsea begin to counter back at 2nd half.
Drogba almost scored for Chelsea but his shot unluckily hit the goal post and save United.

Scholes was being substituted by Giggs on 86th min , who had his 759th game for the club.

The match remained 1-1 until extra time added.

IN the second period of extra time, Drogba slapped Vidic and being red carded by the referee.

Still, the scoreline didn't change and bring out the sudden death penalty shootout.

ROME — AS Roma are relishing their unexpected opportunity to snatch the Serie A title from a faltering Inter Milan.

Two weeks ago their hopes seemed dead and buried as they trailed the champions and leaders by six points with just three games to play.

Due to Inter’s better head-to-head record in the two league encounters between the pair, they needed only three points — or one win — to ensure they held onto the title for a third year in a row.

However, they lost the Milan derby to AC and then were twice pegged back after taking the lead at home to little Siena before drawing 2-2 — Marco Materazzi also missed a penalty in that match.

It all means that Roma have the possibility of claiming the title on Sunday when they travel to Sicily to play Catania, the same day that Inter are at Parma.

What makes the two matches doubly exciting is that Catania and Parma are still in the relegation scrap.

Inter lead Roma by just one point, down from the six of two weeks ago and the 11 of early February.

There are various permutations but Roma have to win or they cannot win the title. If Roma do win, Inter have to win to claim the Scudetto.

But at the bottom, Inter’s opponents Parma must be victorious or they are down.

Catania need a point to be sure of survival if either Parma or Empoli, who play already relegated Livorno, win.

At the top, it is really a case of Inter’s to lose and Roma have delighted in piling on the pressure.....
